A Fairy’s Favorite Holiday!
Even when I find myself in the depths of the holiday blues, for this silly fairy, Christmas is the best holiday ever. The simple thought of it makes me feel all giddy and magical!
Unexpectedly, this year’s Christmas Day was memorable and entirely wonderful! Not ending in tears at all🥹.
So to commemorate what felt like a true Christmas miracle, here’s a little poem to make you smile:
She was a sad, lonely, little fairy when the day began.
She thought, “Will I ever feel that wonderful Christmas magic? Oh, I do so hope that I can!”
Unbeknownst to her, the day would take a turn,
And soon she’d find herself on the beach, under the glittering golden sun.
Dancing and singing and laughing she would be,
Talking and chuckling and bantering with glee.
In a sea of stars and silver holly
The world became bright and true and jolly!
Arm in arm with new found friends,
And Chocolatey snacks with sugary blends,
She fluttered about in her magic jewelry and princess-y dress,
She sang Wonderful Christmastime and forgot all the stress.
And when the day was over, so sleepy this fairy was
that she waved goodnight to the Christmas tree, and bowed as the moon gave her applause.
“'Twas a good Christmas, don’t you think?” She mumbled into her fluffy pillow.
Why yes, she answered herself in her mind, eyes shut, it certainly was.
Twas the first good Christmas in a long time for this little fairy, indeed.
Dear Magical girl,
Whether Christmas left you sad and teary-eyed or you ended up having a miraculously wonderful Christmas Day, like this fairy did—know that joy is always around the corner, waiting for you. And I do hope, that the next Christmas is even better than you could imagine!
