Moody

Just A little Moody!

There I sat, incredibly grumpy in a tiny cafe, trying to drown my frustrations in a glass of freshly squeezed OJ (my yummy drink of choice!), when I scribbled down the words:

Moody Fairy

Life getting you down? People making you frown?

Crack open Moody Fairy and let all the wrongs be rigthed—whether it’s Christmas or a horrible Tuesday!

The thought of actually making a book to vent and process my spicy thoughts sounded cathartic, hilarious, and exactly what I needed. And of course there was a fairytale brewing: Moody Fairy morphed into a character all on her own!

Green dainty wings, long dark hair, and a permanent frown on her face; Moody Fairy lives in Bad Weather Town—a most chaotic town on the outskirts of Fairyland—where she experiences wacky events and the most ridiculous days, as she goes about her life minding her own business.

Moody is just like me (and you!) for real: doing her best, staying polite, and yet perpetually annoyed.

I got to work drafting a short fairytale documenting a particularly bad day for Moody Fairy. And as I did, I created diary questionnaire pages alongside the story, to help me document a Moody day of my own!

In the end, I had the strangest (And possibly the most fun) digital diary I’ve made yet. Coming to Fairy Shop November 4th! I hope it acts as a safe space to process your magical moody days and wacky times, while also making you smile!

Until then, I’ll walk you through a few sneak peek pages!

PS: There is no form of professional advice in this digital diary. Still, I hope Moody Fairy uplifts your heart!

Ahh, the inner title page. This was so fun to make! The little hearts all over feel so girlish and happy which makes for ironically cute vibes. Like, I’m moody BUT in bright colors and neon pastel. Stylishly stressed, duh!

A quick intro! You’ll see these purple background tones a lot through out. Definitely a Moody Fairy signature color!

The Chapter Titles! Sweet and simple. Get excited for the fairytale inside, Moody Fairy’s story is a good one <3.

Here’s the first diary page where you get to name your ridiculous day/bad event. Sigh, the page is so pretty, Idk how I’ll stay upset. And yes, that “next” button works!

I haven’t tried a Table of Contents in any of my previous diaries yet BUT I felt it would work really well for Moody! In hopes that you’ll use the diary over and over again. Also the nerdy organizer in me has been trying out all the buttons, LOL. Interactive diaries feel like video games!

Okay magical girl, that is it for the sneak peak!

Look out in your inbox for Moody Fairy’s official release next week. Before we part, here’s a big virtual hug to get you through whatever mood you find yourself in:

xx Anastasia
